Privacy Policy

PauseWise is designed to keep your information private. We do not operate an advertising or analytics backend, and we do not sell your information.

Information used by the app

When you give permission, PauseWise uses Apple Screen Time services to let you select apps and websites, apply limits, and show activity reports. Apple protects the identity of selected apps with private tokens. PauseWise cannot read the content you view inside another app.

If you choose optional features, PauseWise may ask for access to microphone, speech recognition, Health data, or Focus status. The app only uses these permissions for the feature you choose.

Storage

Your settings, routines, check ins, and app activity summaries are stored on your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, supported settings may also be stored in your private Apple iCloud account. PauseWise does not have its own user account database.

Subscriptions

Apple processes purchases and subscriptions. PauseWise receives only the purchase status needed to unlock Pro features. We do not receive your full payment details.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your information. Information is shared only with Apple services that are required for features you choose, such as Screen Time, iCloud, Health, and StoreKit.

Your choices

You can remove permissions in iPhone Settings. You can also delete PauseWise data from inside the app or by deleting the app. Data already stored in iCloud can be managed through your Apple account settings.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
